Abstract:
The thick-skinned melons ‘Nasmi’under the same planting pattern grown in Xinjiang Altay, Kashgar, and Turpan were used as the main test materials, and their main quality indicators were measured and analyzed to compare the differences, which was further comprehensively evaluated using membership function method. The results showed that sucrose, fructose, glucose, vitamin C, soluble proteins, total phenols, flavonoids and malic acid of melons were optimum in Turpan, while the citric acid content was the highest in Kashgar. In Altai region melons showed the strongest scavenging activities on ABTS and DPPH free radicals with the highest fumaric acid content.Membership function analysis showed that the qualities of muskmelons in Turpan area were better than that in the other two regions.
