Abstract:
Prepared dishes products industry has been developing rapidly in China, but the standards and regulations related to food quality, food safety and their supporting safeguards have not developed simultaneously. In practice, special national food safety standards for prepared dishes have not yet been issued, the safety traceability system needs to be optimized urgently, and the regulatory standards for the prepared dishes industry in various places are not yet uniform and sound. The paper analyzes the problems existing in prepared dishes industry, summarizes the current situation and deficiencies of the issued norms and relevant standards, puts forward the path of rule of law and standardization of prepared dishes in China and points out a more perfect information disclosure system and quality and safety monitoring system for prepared dishes should be established and improved on the basis of existing food safety laws and regulations, in order to promote the healthy development of the prepared dishes industry, and provide safer and higher quality foods for the society.
