Abstract:
Kiwifruit is highly susceptible to postharvest diseases, which lead to easy softening and decay, and shortening the shelf life dramatically. Therefore, it is particularly important to develop novel preservation technology for kiwifruit after being harvested. This article summarizes the classification, characteristics and principle of action of kiwifruit postharvest preservation technology in recent years. In general, current problems and future trends of postharvest preservation techniques of kiwifruit are analyzed and proposed as references for the steady development of kiwifruit industry.
