Abstract:
The 1-Methylcyclopropene(1-MCP) is an ethylene receptor inhibitor, and has been widely used in the storage and preservation industries of postharvest fruits and vegetables. This article analyzed the pharmacokinetic mechanisms of 1-MCP on fruits and vegetables from the aspects including fruits absorptions of 1-MCP, the interaction effects and mechanisms with fruits biological macromolecules, residual amounts, and legal conventions, etc.Subsequently, the common product forms and development trends of 1-MCP were summarized from the points of product development and technical application, and the multi-effects preservations of 1-MCP combined with precooling technology, fungicides, and fruit and vegetable flavors formation control technology were sorted out.Through general analysis, it could be found that 1-MCP presented high safety and low residue amounts, and most of studies focused on its application, but the metabolic metabolisms in fruits and vegetables and the adverse effects on the qualities were rarely researched. Therefore, long-term stable sustained-release formulation and composite preservation technology would be a development trend in the future.
