Abstract: Regarding the current development status of fishery anesthetics in China, aspects including the types of anesthetics, working objects, functioning concepts, influencing factors, residue detection methods and patterns of residual metabolism were reviewed in this paper, which also stated the developing trend in order to provide references for the further research, application and safety supervision of Chinese fishery anesthetics.
