Abstract: Agricultural products are the necessities of residents’ life, and their daily consumption is huge.However, agricultural products are naturally perishable. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the management of logistics and the distribution of agricultural products and improve the quality and efficiency of distribution. Taking Guangzhou DS agricultural products distribution company as an example, this paper used the mileage saving method to optimize the distribution route of agricultural products and improve the utilization rate of vehicles,reducing the mileage of distribution and transportation, to eventually improve the distribution service level and reduce the distribution cost of agricultural products.
