Abstract:
Logistics preservation is one of the important factors affecting the quality of agri-food. Considering the freshness sensitivity and channel preference of consumers, the sequential game models are constructed for producers, retailers and cold chain logistics service providers under two cases of self-preservation and preservation outsourcing, the optimal pricing and freshness level are solved. The effects of preservation cost and preservation service price on selection of preservation mode and channel freshness difference of producers and retailers are analyzed by numerical experiments. The results imply that under the preservation outsourcing, the freshness of the producers or retailers is negatively correlated with preservation cost, but positively correlated with preservation price. Retailers always choose self-preservation, while producers will choose preservation outsource when the preservation level(or price) is higher(or lower) than a certain threshold. In this case, the freshness of offline channel and online channel tends to be close. If the preservation level is low, the cold chain logistics service providers tend to undertake the retailers preservation outsourcing, otherwise undertake the producers preservation outsourcing, but the system profit of supply chain is higher when undertake the producer preservation outsourcing.
