Abstract:
As a new business, online catering has grown rapidly during the prevention and control of the COVID-19and played an important role in meeting people’s consumption needs. At the same time, online catering has increasingly prominent risks in food safety. Through the research and summary of related literature, this paper analyzes the food safety risks of online catering in the four aspects of platform management, catering processing, takeaway delivery and after-sales service, and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures of clarifying the responsibilities of the government and the third-party platform, strengthening the supervision of the processing process of the catering households in the network, implementing the sealing label of food safety, and the government as the leading party, with the participation of the consumers, the third-party platform, the catering households in the network, and the news media. It has reference value for online catering food safety supervision and online catering practitioners to prevent food safety hazards.
