Abstract:
This article measures the spatial efficiency of cold chain logistics for fresh agricultural products in China,analyzes the differences in cold chain efficiency of fresh agricultural products in 31 provinces and cities across the country, and proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the efficiency of cold chain logistics for agricultural products. The panel data from 2017 to 2021 of 31 provinces and cities in China were collected, and DEA 3.0 was used to measure the spatial efficiency of cold chain logistics of agricultural products in each province and city from the static and dynamic dimensions, then the CCR model and BCC model were constructed to analyze the static efficiency, and the Malmquist index was used to analyze the dynamic efficiency. The results showed that the overall efficiency level of cold chain logistics in our country was relatively high, but there was still a certain gap from the efficiency frontier of DEA, the efficiency of cold chain logistics in different regions presented spatial differences, and technological progress and changes have a significant driving effect on total factor productivity. Therefore, this article proposes that in order to improve the efficiency of cold chain logistics for agricultural products, various regions need to combine the actual situation, increase government planning guidance, promote cold chain logistics technology innovation, cultivate cold chain logistics technology talents, improve the level of cold chain logistics management, and promote the coordinated development of cold chain logistics for agricultural products in China.
