Abstract:
In order to improve the battery life of electric vehicles, a battery aging management strategy is proposed in this paper, which can improve battery capacity degradation in consideration of travel distance, charging time and driving performance, transform the optimization problem of multi-objective and multi-output into a single performance index. The strategy takes battery charge-discharge rate and discharge depth as control variables. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is adopted to select the optimal control variable through appropriate control discrete iterative steps. After 200 thousand kilometers of NEDC driving cycle validation, battery degradation is reduced by 0.2%, which proves that the proposed battery aging management strategy can reduce battery aging and improve vehicle performance.
