Dual Polarization Antenna with Low Cross Polarization and High Isolation

  • 摘要: 设计了一种应用于WLAN的具有低交叉极化和高隔离度的双极化天线.天线由3层功能层和2层介质基板间隔层叠而成. 3层功能层分别为1个方形辐射贴片, 2个带有发夹谐振器的馈电网络和1个刻蚀H形缝隙的接地板.发夹谐振器和辐射贴片构成一个二阶滤波天线用以展宽天线的带宽.通过在接地板上蚀刻H形缝隙降低了天线端口间的耦合电流,改善了天线两个端口的隔离度.仿真结果表明,天线的两个端口阻抗带宽分别为2.4 GHz~2.5 GHz和2.39 GHz~2.52 GHz,覆盖WLAN频段(2.4 GHz~2.484 GHz).在天线工作频带内,天线两个端口间的隔离度大于38 dB,天线E面和H面的交叉极化均低于-28 dB.

     

    Abstract: This paper designs a dual-polarized antenna with low cross polarization and high isolation for WLAN. The antenna is composed of three function layers and two layers of dielectric substrates laminated at intervals.The function layers are a square radiation patch, a ground plane etched H-slot and two feeding networks with hairpin resonators. The second-order filter antenna is realized both the hairpin resonators and the radiation patch to broaden the band. H-shaped slot is etched on the ground plate to reduce the coupling current between the antenna ports and improve the isolation of the two antenna ports.The simulation results show that the impedance bandwidth is 2.4 GHz~2.5 GHz in port1 and 2.39 GHz~2.52 GHz in port2. It covers the band of WLAN(2.4 GHz~2.484 GHz). In the operating frequency band, the isolation between two ports is greater than 38 dB, and the cross polarization in E plane and H plane are lower than-28 dB.
