Abstract:
Aiming at the problem that the bearing temperature is too high during the operation of double row self-aligning roller bearings, a detailed inspection is conducted on the bearings of the same batch and model by taking into account the factors of design, manufacture and usage. The experiments are carried out to study the relationship between bearing tightness, bearing cage pocket clearance, ring raceway and roller roughness, working environment temperature, and bear temperature rise. The following conclusions are obtained that in order to reduce the temperature rise during the operation of double row self-aligning roller bearings, the bearing tightness and cage pocket clearance can be appropriately increased, and the roller roughness and working environment temperature can be reduced.
