Abstract:
In order to solve the limitations of the traditional three-dimensional digital image correlation method in measuring the deformation of complex materials, two-dimensional and three-dimensional digital image correlation methods, and the multi-camera digital image correlation method of successive arrangement and its two forms of camera arrangement are introduced. Multiple cameras with certain overlapping fields of view are calibrated simultaneously to form an overall 3D measurement system for measuring continuous full-surface deformation. The effectiveness of the multi-camera digital image correlation method is verified through the multi-camera global measurement of the surface deformation of the steel sleeve with large curvature. The results show that the continuously arranged multi-camera digital image correlation method is a reliable 3D full-field deformation measurement method in material deformation measurement.
