Abstract: There are many kinds of conventional island equipment in nuclear power plants, and the detection methods are various. With the maturity of magnetic particle testing technology and the development of magnetic particle testing equipment, the non-destructive testing of many ferromagnetic materials has changed from the original penetration testing to magnetic particle testing. This paper introduces the magnetic particle testing methods for the common equipment of conventional islands in nuclear power plants, and the testing method is introduced with the typical magnetic particle testing and the magnetization specification.
