Abstract: The automatic detection and correction technology for vehicle axle is studied in the paper. Aimed at the symmetry of middle flange surface of the vehicle axle and the leveling of the stiffening ring of the axle assembly,the automatic detection system and measuring device are designed,and the equipment is tested and verified. The test results show that the proposed correction technology can achieve the symmetry correction of the middle flange surface of the vehicle axle and the leveling of the stiffening ring of the axle assembly,which can meet the requirements of actual production.
