Abstract: Determination of the uncertainty of tensile yield strength of high-density polyethylene silicone plastic duct is analyzed in the paper. Through establishing a mathematical model of measurement uncertainty, the influence of repeatability test, tension machine calibration, thickness determination, width determination and other factors on the measurement uncertainty is analyzed and evaluated. The research shows that the repeatability test has the greatest impact on the uncertainty results.
