Study on Butt Fusion Joining Procedure for Polyethylene Pipe

Butt fusion joining technology for polyethylene pipe has been widely used because of its safety,reliability and low construction cost. The widely used single low-pressure fusion jointing procedure and single high-pressure fusion jointing procedure are introduced in the paper,and the two kinds of butt fusion joining procedures are analyzed,so as to make the engineering and technical personnel apprehend the two kinds of fusion joining procedures,and to promote the development and improvement of butt fusion joining procedures for polyethylene pipe in China.
