Abstract:
【Objective】 To determine the response of detoxification enzyme genes in A. pisum to tannic acid, which is a plant secondary metabolite,to provide some data to explore the functions of CYP450 and GST genes in tannic acid metabolism in A. pisum.【Method】 The cytochrome P450(CYP450) and glutathione S-transferases(GSTs) genes in pea aphids were measured by RT-qPCR after feeding on Vicia faba treated with tannic acid.【Result】 The expression of CYP450 and GST genes in A. pisum was significantly up-regulated after treatment with tannic acid. CYP4C107,CYP6K109,CYP6A1302,CYP303A1 and CYP3077A1 were dramatically up-regulated by 1. 88-,1. 67-,2. 37-,2. 81-and 4. 46-fold,respectively.In addition,GST104,GST105,GST108 and GST109 were up-regulated 1. 42-,2. 07-,4. 89-and 1. 41-fold,respectively. In addition,GSTx1,GSTx4 and GSTx6 were up-regulated 1. 77-,1. 33-and 1. 62-fold,respectively. GSTm,GSTt,GSTcd and GSTd702 were up-regulated 1. 60-,1. 44-,1. 40-and 4. 27-fold,respectively.【Conclusion】 The CYP450 and GST genes may play an important role in the metabolism of tannic acid in A. pisum.
