Abstract:
【Objective】 The objective of this study was to investigate the quality of dodder as traditional Chinese medicine,which is the dry mature seed of Cuscuta australis or Cuscuta chinensis of Convolvulaceae and that from Shandong and Henan was believed to be of high quality. This research aimed to provide a crucial reference for the authentication of commercial medicinal dodder materials,ensure their purity,and to lay a groundwork for the future development and utilization of dodder.【Method】 A comprehensive survey of herbaceous plant germplasm resources was conducted in Shandong Province.【Result】 During the survey,a new distribution record was documented,namely Cuscuta camPestris.
