Abstract: In order to strengthen the construction of ideological and political teaching system of the Animal Reproduction course, the teaching team of Hebei Agricultural University, following the characteristics and teaching concepts, and the refined analysis of key knowledge points of the course, fully excavated the ideological and political elements in the Animal Reproduction course that conform to the characteristics of the animal science specialty, mainly including political identity, family and nation feelings, cultural self-confidence, scientific spirit, legal awareness, ecological civilization, global envision and civic character. This article summarized the practice of ideological and political teaching in Animal Reproductive courses, so as to provide reference for the construction of ideological and political education system in Animal Reproductive courses.
