Exploration on the development status,existing problems and countermeasures of beef cattle industry in Yiwu county

The beef cattle industry is a pillar industry for the development of animal husbandry in Yiwu county. In recent years, Yiwu county has actively promoted the improvement of beef cattle varieties, optimized the variety structure, increased the scale and standardization of breeding, and promoted the income for farmers and herdsmen, taking into account local natural conditions and social economic environment. However, there are such problems as high cost of feed and difficulty in retaining good breeding stocks of livestock in production practice. This paper analyzes the current development status and existing problems of the beef cattle industry in Yiwu county, and proposes strategies for the development of beef cattle husbandry, providing theoretical reference for the high-quality development of animal husbandry.
