Abstract
The application and promotion of frozen semen in genetic improvement of beef cattle is an important achievement in the development of modern animal husbandry industry. The article explores the production process, cooling, storage period, and quality evaluation standards of frozen semen, as well as the application mode of frozen semen in beef cattle breeding, proposes key measures for selecting breeding bulls and selection of frozen-thawed semen. Moreover, suggestions for establishing standardized storage centers, researching of artificial insemination application technology, semen collection, storage, and transportation are discussed, so as to provide references to promote the efficiency of genetic improvement in beef cattle for the sustainable development of the beef cattle industry.
