Reflections on improving the teaching quality of Livestock Reproduction courses

Livestock Reproduction is a compulsory professional basic course in animal science major, and plays an important role in training professional talents in animal production discipline. In order to better improve the teaching quality of Livestock Reproduction course, the teaching and research group of animal reproduction science of Henan Agricultural University took such measures as inspiring learning interests of students, enriching and optimizing teaching materials, adopting virtual technology, strengthening political and ideology education, recruiting competitive professors, guiding students to participate in animal science and technology completion and research activities, achieving encouraging teaching results. This paper summarizes the problems existing in the current teaching process of Livestock Reproduction, and suggests several strategies for improving teaching quality, so as to provide some references for the construction of animal reproduction courses of agricultural universities.
