The role of Chinese herbal medicine in improving animal reproductive performance

Traditional Chinese herbal medicine has evolved over thousands of years, which plays a great role in health care, promoting growth, improving body function, and disease prevention and treatment. The application of Chinese herbal medicine in improving animal reproduction has proved effective and extended extensively. In this paper, the main components and functions of Chinese herbal medicine, the effects of Chinese herbal medicine on animal reproductive performance and its application in animal production were reviewed, so as to provide references for giving full play to the role of Chinese herbal medicine and improving animal reproductive performance.
