Abstract
The improvement of teachers’ digital literacy is playing an indispensable role both in the process of promoting educational digitization and in the professional development of teachers. The Ministry of Education of China has formulated and issued the industry standard “‘Teachers’ Digital Literacy”, which clearly stipulates the specific indicators for teachers’ professional development in the process of educational digital transformation. By strengthening their technological capabilities, teaching design and implementation capabilities, and updating educational concepts, teachers can effectively promote the development of educational digitization, improve teaching quality and benefit students’ learning. Taking the teaching of the course “Animal Breeding” as an example, this paper discussed strategies and methods for enhancing teachers’ digital literacy from three aspects: the improvement of teachers’ digital awareness, the enhancement of teachers’ digital technology knowledge and skills, and the implementation of digital teaching in Animal Breeding course, aiming to provide a reference for the improvement of teachers’ digital literacy.
