Abstract
Animal biotechnology is an applied science that utilizes modern biotechnology to serve animal production, based on traditional animal husbandry techniques. To improve the teaching quality of the course of Animal Biotechnology and cultivate excellent biotechnology professionals, the curriculum teaching reform was practiced based on the “Four-in-One, Three Stage Integration” reforming theory. The results suggested that reforming practice would improve students’ ability of technological innovation and connecting theory with practice by implementing “optimizing teaching objectives, enriching teaching content, integrating moral education, improving evaluation systems” and “integrating pre-class, in-class, and post-class teaching”, showing better teaching quality of the Animal Biotechnology course. The “Four-in-One, Three Stage Integration” teaching reform of Animal Biotechnology course promises universities to cultivate innovative and pioneering talents for animal agriculture.
