Abstract: In order to improve the orchard environment,increase the fruit quality and yield,this paper introduced the current situation of sod-culture in orchards at home and abroad,summarized the effects of sod-culture techniques on orchard soil,fruit quality and orchard environment in arid areas,analyzed the grass seed selection,sod-culture mode and management after grass growing in dryland orchards,and put forward corresponding suggestions.
