Abstract: In order to strengthen the control of potato early blight, improve the yield and quality of potato and promote industrial development, we took potato early blight as the research object, summarized the research on the disease characteristics and conditions, biological characteristics of pathogenic bacteria, Alternaria solani toxin and genetic diversity, and introduced the comprehensive control of early blight from the cultivation measures, breeding disease resistant varieties, chemical control and biological control.The problems existing in the control of potato early blight were put forward, and the research direction in the future was prospected.
