Abstract: In order to promote the popularization of new glutinous maize variety Hanian No.3,this paper introduced its breeding process,yield performance,main characteristics and cultivation techniques.In 2013,the Maize Research Office of Harbin Academy of Agricultural Sciences bred Hanian No.3 with N9810-7 as female parent and 700 as male parent.In 2020,it was approved by Heilongjiang Provincial Variety Approval Committee（approval No.:Heishenyu 20200063）.In the adaptation area,Hanian No.3 has yellow appearance,good quality,high viscosity,thin skin,good palatability and high yield.It is suitable for fresh food and quick-frozen processing planting in the first to second accumulated temperate zone of Heilongjiang Province.
