Abstract: Professional certification in engineering education is an internationally accepted quality assurance system for engineering education and is to ensure the scope and quality of students’ career preparation after graduation.Plant pathology research method was the core construction course of plant protection professional certification of Northeast Agricultural University,and it was also an experimental course with strong application and practice,which provides students with the basis and tools to enter the field of agricultural scientific research and solve practical problems in agricultural production.Based on the three core concepts of professional certification,this course adopts project teaching method and integrates ideological and political elements into the teaching system of plant pathology research methods,striving to realize the synergistic integration of "teaching", "educating", "innovation ability" and "vocational ability",and promote the all-round development of students.
