Abstract: Quantitative genetics is an important course for graduate students in crop genetics and breeding.In order to improve the teaching effect and the quality of the talent cultivation,based on the analysis of the current circumstances of teaching quantitative genetics and existing problems,this paper put forward the corresponding reform measures.We discussed the methods and approaches to improve the teaching effect,including adjusting the teaching contents,improving teaching methods and enhancing the comprehensive quality of the students etc.and certain effects had been achieved after a round of reform practice.
