Abstract: Ligularia plant resources are widely distributed,with various chemical active substances,obvious pharmacological effects and high nutritional and therapeutic value.In order to promote the development and utilization of Ligularia,this paper expounded the research on the distribution,morphology,heredity and identification,reproductive biology,chemical active substances,pharmacological action,nutrition and edible value of Ligulariain recent years.
