Research Status and Conservation Strategies of Rare Plant Malus komarovii（Sarg.） Rehd

In order to further promote the development and utilization of Malus komarovi（Sarg.）Rehd.,development with protection and seedling breeding should be combined based on priority to protection.This paper summarized the research status of Malus komarovi（Sarg.） Rehd.from the aspects of geographical distribution, biological characteristics, ecological characteristics, systematic classification status, reproductive technology, population characteristics, application value and germplasm resources bank construction.The problems existed in the research and application were found out, and the strategies of conservation and efficient utilization such as carrying out the research on the county geographical distribution, molecular genetic diversity of population, the seed deep dormancy and breaking dormancy methods, comprehensive utilization were put forward.
