Abstract
In order to make full use of the saline land in Xinjiang and promote the large-scale cultivation of Lycium dasystemum Pojarkova, the seeds of L. dasystemum as the experimental materials to study its germination in different concentrations of NaCl and Na2SO4 salt solution. The germination rate, germination potential and germination index of L. dasystemum seeds were measured by different concentrations of salt stress. The results showed that when the concentration of NaCl solution was 20-60 mmol·L-1, the germination rate and germination potential, and the germination index at 20-40 mmol·L-1 were higher than the control, but the difference was not significant; When the concentration of NaCl solution was 80-100 mmol·L-1, the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of L. dasystemum seeds were lower than those of the control, and there was no significant difference except for the germination index at 80 mmol·L-1(P>0.05); When the concentration of NaCl reached 120 mmol·L-1, the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of L. dasystemum seeds were lower than those in the control, and the germination index was significantly different(P<0.01); When treated with Na2SO4 salt solution, the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of L. dasystemum seeds were lower than those of the control within the concentration range of 20-120 mmol·L-1. When the concentration of Na2SO4 solution increased to 80-120 mmol·L-1, the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of L. dasystemum seeds were significantly lower than those of the control, and the indexes gradually decreased with the increase of concentration. The inhibition of Na2SO4 salt solution on the germination of L. dasystemum seeds was stronger than that of NaCl. L. dasystemum seeds have certain salt tolerance characteristics during germination, but high concentration of salt and alkali will inhibit the germination of L. dasystemum seeds.
