Abstract:
In order to provide the basis for establishment of feeding standard and scientific rearing of Laoshan dairy goat, thirty-six healthy female Laoshan dairy goats with a body weight of(49.33±0.08) kg on the 90 th day of pregnancy were randomly divided into 3 groups, with 3 replicates for each treatment and 4 goats for each repeat. The treatments were fed 3 diets with 12.25%, 14.12% and 16.29% protein levels, respectively. The production performance, serum hormone levels and biochemical indexes of Laoshan dairy goat in the late pregnancy were determined. The results showed that when the diet of protein level of 14.12%(Ⅱ group), the weight of Laoshan dairy goats after delivery, the initial weight of lambs, and the weight and survival rate of lambs 7 d after birth were significantly higher than that of the other 2 groups(P<0.01). There was no significant effect of protein level on the content of serum progesterone and E2 of Laoshan dairy goats in late pregnancy(P>0.05), only the content of prolactin ofⅡgroups was significantly higher than that of Ⅰgroup(P<0.05). With the increase of diets protein levels, serum total protein, albumin and urea nitrogen content all increased significantly(P<0.01). The results indicated that the protein level of Laoshan dairy goats was 14.12% in the late gestation period.
