Abstract: The paper reviewed the pathogenic characteristics and clinical symptoms related to Bovine coronavirus（BCV）. This paper introduced the pathogenic characteristics of BCV and the structure and function of five major proteins. The unique replication strategies of BCV were summarized, and BCV-induced diarrhea in newborn calves, dysenteria in adult cows and respiratory tract infection were introduced. In addition, the diagnosis methods and prevention and treatment measures were further elaborated, which laid a theoretical foundation for the research progress of BCV and provided reference for the prevention and treatment of BCV disease.
