Abstract:
In order to select new varieties(strains) of Leymus chinensis with high and stable yield and good nutrition suitable for planting in Northeast China, seven Leymus chinensis varieties(strains) were used as research materials in Harbin. The plant height, hay yield, crude protein, soluble protein, acid detergent insoluble crude protein, neutral detergent insoluble crude protein, dry matter, acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, lignin, in vitro 30 h digestibility of neutral detergent fiber, soluble sugar, fatty acids, ether extract, crude ash, calcium, phosphorus, kalium, total digestible nutrient, net energy of milk production, net energy for maintenance, net energy for gain, digestion rate of neutral detergent fiber and relative feed value at heading stage were measured and analyzed, and comprehensive evaluations were conducted using grey relational analysis. The results showed that the hay yields of LC011 and LC016 lines were higher at 1 262.93 g/m
2 and 1 209.27 g/m
2 respectively. LC016 line had the highest plant height and tiller number, which were 112.93 cm and 2 286.00 plant/m~2, respectively. LC013 line had the highest crude protein content(17.61%), while the contents of neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and lignin were the lowest(34.43%, 64.56% and 4.43%, respectively), but the comprehensive characters of other varieties were not obvious. The comprehensive analysis of grey relational degree showed that LC013 and LC016 had obvious advantages in grass yield and quality traits compared with Zhongke No.1. The results indicated that LC013 and LC016 lines have potential to be new varieties of Leymus chinensis with high yield and good quality.
