Abstract:
In order to provide basic data for the intensive aquaculture of Acipenseridae, the body length, body weight and their variable coefficient of 30-day-old, the body length, body weight and their variable coefficient, absolute increment, relative growth rate, specific growth rate and survival rate, total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD) activity, catalase(CAT) activity, total nitric oxide synthase(T-NOS) activity, total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) and malondialdehyde(MDA) content in serum and liver, and the lipase activity, amylase activity in liver, stomach and intestines, and protease activity in stomach were measured of 180-day-old in Acipenser baerii and Acipenser gueldenstaedti cultured under the recirculating aquaculture conditions, and growth performance and physiological indexes between Acipenser baerii and Acipenser gueldenstaedti under recirculating aquaculture conditions were compared. The results showed that the survival rate of 180-day-old Acipenser baerii and Acipenser gueldenstaedti were 95% and 96%, respectively, under recirculating aquaculture conditions. There were no significant differences in the absolute increment, relative growth rate and specific growth rate of body length and relative growth rate and specific growth rate of body weight between Acipenser baerii and Acipenser gueldenstaedti(P>0.05), the variable coefficient of them decreased with the increase age, but the range of variable coefficient reduction of Acipenser gueldenstaedti was larger.Compared with the Acipenser baerii, the CAT activity and MDA content in the serum of the Acipenser gueldenstaedti were significantly decreased(P<0.05), while T-SOD, T-NOS activity and T-AOC were not significantly different(P>0.05). There were no significant differences in T-SOD, CAT, T-NOS activity, T-AOC and MDA content in the liver of Acipenser gueldenstaedti(P>0.05). The lipase activity in each test organization of Acipenser baerii was higher than that of Acipenser gueldenstaedti.Among them, lipase activity of liver and hindgut between the two species had significant difference(P<0.05),while lipase activity of stomach, foregut and midgut, amylase activity of liver, stomach and intestines, pepsin activity between the two species had no significant difference(P>0.05).The results indicated that both Acipenser baerii and Acipenser gueldenstaedti could grow rapidly under the recirculating aquaculture system, but the capacity of antioxidant and digestion of Acipenser baerii were stronger.
