Abstract: With the deepening of ecological civilization construction, ecological concept has been integrated into all aspects and the whole process of economic development and construction in China. As the highest form of animal husbandry development, ecological animal husbandry is the proper meaning in the construction of ecological civilization society. The author summarized the value of the development of ecological animal husbandry, and analyzed the restrictive factors of the development of ecological animal husbandry from three aspects: ideology, legal system and industrial distribution. Finally, the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of ecological animal husbandry in China were put forward: do a good job of publicity and guidance, guid the development of ecological animal husbandry thought of life community; strengthen the top-level design and make a rational planning of national ecological animal husbandry layout; respect natural laws and design the development mode of ecological animal husbandry; improve the policy system, strengthen the legal system construction of ecological animal husbandry; adhere to the combination of planting and raising, and realize the green and low carbon development of ecological animal husbandry.
