Abstract:
In order to build a monitoring and management system for animal insect-borne diseases based on web geographic information system(WebGIS), and to realize the visualization display, spatial analysis and emergency management of animal insect-borne diseases, and its early detection and control, this study established a spatial database by geo-editing the national 1∶4 million electronic vector map; the spatial epidemic characteristics of diseases were analyzed by spatial aggregation method. Using WebGIS and ArcGIS Sever for secondary software development, a WebGIS-based monitoring and management system for animal insect-borne diseases was designed and established. The system could effectively help the prevention and control of related diseases, and provide new ideas and methods for the construction of animal disease early warning system in China.
