Abstract: The insect-super mealworms（Zophobas morio） could be widely concerned because they are rich in protein, vitamins, enzymes, fat, amino acids, minerals and sugars.Its insect meal can be used as a feed for shrimps, crabs, dolphins, fish and other organisms instead of fish meal, and has certain advantages in the field of protein feed.Its nutrients is richer than that of Tenebrio molitor.Zophobas morio can also degrade plastics and make compound amino acid oral liquids, which has broad application prospects and has commercial value that can be developed and utilized.However, the development and utilization of Zophobas morio is less in China.Therefore, the article expounded the biological characteristics and feeding methods of Zophobas morio,and summarized the influence of different factors on the growth and development of Zophobas morio,as well as the nutrients and application of it, in order to provide references for the development and application of Zophobas morio.
