Abstract:
In order to understand the incidence of feline leukemia in Harbin area and the genetic variation of the virus, the experiment collected 51 blood samples from cats in Harbin area, PCR was used to amplify the pol gene in the conserved region of the virus, and the positive samples were analyzed for homology analysis and phylogenetic analysis. The results showed that 25 samples were tested positive, with a positive rate of 49%. Among them, there were 17 male cat samples and 8 female cat samples; 20 cat samples were 0-2 years old, 3 cat samples were 2-4 years old, and 2 cat samples were > 10 years old; 6 cat samples were less than 3 kg, 15 cat samples were 3-6 kg, and 4 cat samples were > 5 kg. The nucleotide similarity between the nucleotide sequences of the 25 samples and the reference sequence was 89.2%-100%. Genetic evolution analysis showed that they came from the same branch, and the genetic relationship was relatively close, which may be related to the geographical distribution. The results suggested that the incidence of feline leukemia in Harbin area was high and the virus genotypes were highly similar.
