CRISPR/Cas9技术在鸡抗病毒感染中应用的研究进展

Research progress on the application of CRISPR/Cas9 technology in chicken anti-virus infection

  • 摘要: 传染性病毒病是制约鸡养殖业发展的重要因素之一,严重影响鸡群健康和养殖效益。基因编辑技术在家禽抗病育种中的应用是现代禽类育种和疫情防控研究的热点。CRISPR/Cas9(clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR-associated protein 9)作为一种高效精准的基因编辑工具,在诸多禽病毒病研究和防控中发挥重要作用。笔者简要综述了CRISPR/Cas9技术靶向敲除鸡病毒受体基因、修饰抗病毒相关基因、改造病毒基因组等方面的应用研究,展望该技术在抗病新品系培育和禽类重组病毒载体疫苗研发等方面的应用前景,为禽类病毒病的基础研究、预防和治疗提供参考依据。

     

    Abstract: Infectious virus disease is one of the important factors restricting the development of chicken breeding, which seriously affects chicken health and breeding efficiency. The application of gene editing technology in poultry breeding for disease resistance is a focused topic in current poultry breeding and epidemic preventionand control.CRISPR/Cas9(clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR associated protein 9) is an efficient and precise gene editing tool, which plays an important role in the research field of prevention and control of avian virus infection diseases.In this paper, CRISPR/Cas9 technology was briefly reviewed in terms of targeted knockout of chicken virus receptor genes, modification of antiviral related genes and modification of virus genome. The application prospect of this technology in the breeding of new resistant strains and the research and development of recombinant avian virus vector vaccine was prospected, which provided a reference for the basic research, prevention and treatment of avian virus diseases.
