Abstract: Encouraging sales areas to support production areas to develop pig industry and constructing a long-term mechanism of sales areas compensating production areas is conducive to improving the enthusiasm of pig raising in pig production areas, which is of great significance for ensuring stable pig production and supply.The author analyzed the theoretical basis, policy basis and feasibility of compensation production area of live pig sales area, summarized the practical experience of compensation production area of live pig sales area in Zhejiang Province, and drew lessons from the research results of compensation production area of sales area at home and abroad, and designed the scheme design of compensation production area of live pig sales area in China from two aspects of compensation links and compensation funds.
