双功能RNA作用机制及其功能研究进展

Research progress on the mechanism and function of bifunctional RNA

  • 摘要: 编码和非编码RNA(cncRNA)又被称为双功能RNA,是一种同时具有非编码调控功能与蛋白质编码功能的新型RNA分子,其既可以通过非编码RNA作用机制发挥基因调控功能,如作为分子诱饵或通过直接结合的方式发挥调控作用、作为支架结构阻断分子和转运核蛋白复合物、作为信号传感器感受代谢物变化,从而调控蛋白质表达;也可以通过小开放阅读框(sORF)结构编码功能性微肽产物参与机体生命活动。文章概述了当前cncRNA的主要功能和分子作用机制,展望了cncRNA研究存在的问题及其应用前景,以期为今后对cncRNA的研究提供一定参考。

     

    Abstract: Coding and non-coding RNA(cncRNA),also known as bifunctional RNA,is a new type of RNA molecule with both non-coding regulatory functions and protein-coding functions. It can not only exert its gene regulation function through non-coding RNA mechanism,such as acting as molecular bait or direct binding,acting as a scaffold to block molecules and transport nuclear protein complexes,and acting as a signal sensor to sense metabolite changes and regulate protein expression. Functional micropeptide products can also be encoded by small open reading frame(sORF) structure to participate in body life activities. In this paper,the main functions and molecular mechanisms of cncRNA were summarized,and the existing problems and application prospects of cnc RNA research were prospected,in order to provide a certain reference for the future research and development of cnc RNA.
