Abstract:
In order to solve the problem that dust, manure, feathers and other debris deposited on the cage net of laying hens always cause the spread of collective respiratory diseases and other diseases, and the traditional manual cleaning method is difficult to completely remove, a chicken cage cleaning device was designed. The device is mainly composed of terminal cleaning device, telescopic device, lifting device and traveling device. The simplified model of the sweeping brush was subjected to finite element analysis and single factor test. The range of motor speed was obtained under the condition that the cleaning force was large and the coating of cage mesh was not damaged. The traveling speed range was determined by single factor test. Then, a three-factor and three-level orthogonal test was conducted with travel speed, brush length and DC motor speed as test factors, dust, fecal contamination and feather cleaning rates as evaluation indicators, in order to analyze the optimal working parameters of the chicken cage net cleaning device. The results showed that the motor speed and travel speed had significant influence on the cleaning effect of dust, feces and feathers(P<0.01), while the bristle length only had significant influence on the cleaning effect(P<0.01). The best working parameters of the device were DC motor speed of 600 r/min, device travel speed of 0.4 m/s and brush hair length of 4 cm. At this time, the cleaning rate of device for dust, faces, and feather was 94.67%, 89.98%, and 98.00%, respectively. The device can effectively clean the debris attached to the chicken cage net.
