Abstract:
In order to improve the automation level of pig farms, a pig health monitoring system based on wireless fidelity(WiFi) and Android was designed in the experiment, that is, MLX90614 infrared temperature sensor was used to obtain the body temperature of pigs in real time; MAX30102 sensors was used to obtain pig heart rate in real time; routers were used to build local area networks; a “1+200” control mode of upper and lower computers was adopted; data was transmitted between the upper computer and the lower computer based on transmission control protocol(TCP); the physiological state of each pig was monitored remotely by mobile phone application(APP). When the system detected abnormal conditions, the alarm monitoring algorithm was used to control the alarm alarm, and the information was transmitted to the breeding personnel through the host computer. In a small and medium-sized pig farm in Huangshi, the accuracy, universality(referring to whether it was suitable for weaned piglets, growing pigs, fattening pigs, pregnant sows) and accuracy of the system were verified by manual measurement. The results showed that compared with the manual detection results, the maximum deviation of body temperature monitored by the system was ±0.2 ℃, the maximum deviation of heart rate was ±2 times/min; the body temperature, heart rate of weaned piglets, growing pigs, fattening pigs and pregnant sows were monitored accuratly by the system; and the correct alarm rate for the health status of weaned piglets, growing pigs, fattenings pigs was 80%-95%, and the false alarm rate was 5%-20%. The results indicated that the stability, accuracy and reliability of the monitoring results of the system were high, which could realize real-time remote monitoring of pig health status, and was suitable for pig health monitoring in small and medium-sized pig farms.
