Abstract: As the“king of new materials in the 21^th century”, graphene has shown broad application prospects in many fields, such as chemical engineering, materials, medicine, etc. In recent years, new graphene materials have also been widely used in the livestock and poultry industry. The author summarized the research and application of graphene and its derivatives in livestock and poultry breeding, environmental monitoring, residual monitoring of harmful substances in livestock and poultry products, pathogen detection, and animal immunity. The biological safety of graphene new materials was analyzed, and the problems in the application of graphene in the field of animal production were pointed out. The application prospects of graphene in the field of animal production were also discussed, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the application of graphene in the field of animal production.
