Abstract:
Avian influenza virus(AIV), H1N1 and H3N2 subtypes of human Influenza virus(IV) belong to Influenza A virus(IAV). IAV contains many subtypes, and the characteristics of rapid variation of the strains are observed. The vaccine strains of IAV need to be adjusted according to the dominant lineages of the year, which brings great challenges to the development and production of the vaccine. Messenger RNA(mRNA) vaccine is a flexible vaccine technology with simple preparation process, short production time and easy large-scale production, and has broad application prospects in disease prevention. In this paper, the types, optimization strategies and research status of IAV mRNA vaccines were reviewed, in order to provide theoretical reference for the research and development of IAV mRNA vaccines.
