Abstract: The breeding environment is closely related to the growth performance of beef cattle, so it is important to regulate the breeding environment. At present, the environmental control of beef cattle breeding mainly includes temperature and humidity control, feces and odor control, lighting control and peripheral enclosure structure selection. The climate in the northern cold region is cold and dry, and the control of breeding environment has certain particularity compared with other regions. This paper summarized the current research progress, advantages and disadvantages of environmental control technology for beef cattle breeding in cold area, in order to provide a new idea for the development of environmental control technology and provide a reference for improving the efficiency of beef cattle breeding.
